Lane honored among 25 “movers and shakers” in the gaming industry
LAS VEGAS (December 22, 2022) – A leading gaming industry publication, Global Gaming Business (GGB) Magazine, recently named Siobhan Lane, of Light & Wonder, Inc. (NASDAQ: LNW) (“Light & Wonder,” “L&W”), to its coveted People to Watch list. Lane currently serves as the company’s Executive Vice President and Group Chief Executive Officer of the Gaming business unit.
The annual list of movers and shakers is considered the gaming industry’s highest honor. Selections for People to Watch were made by the GGB Editorial Advisory Board, a collection of some of the most knowledgeable and connected people in the gaming industry. Nominees came from all aspects of the gaming business including land-based and online operators and suppliers, regulators, attorneys, tribal government officials, public officials, academics and more.
Lane is an accomplished and respected senior global gaming executive with a track record of driving business results through strong strategic and executional alignment, with a focus on building high-performing teams and an engaging culture. As Light & Wonder’s CEO of Gaming, she oversees all aspects of the company’s land-based Gaming business, demonstrating an innate desire to bring teams together to do their best work. Prior to being named CEO of Gaming in October, she served as Light & Wonder’s Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer and led the North America region of Gaming.
Throughout her distinguished career, Lane has also been recognized as a Top 40 Under 40 Emerging Leader by Global Gaming Business as well as one of the Gaming Industry’s Most Influential Female Leaders. Most recently, she was appointed as 2nd Vice President on the Global Gaming Women (GGW) Board of Directors.
Born in Ireland, Lane graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and International Business, and recently completed the Executive Development Program at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
