Scientific Games’ Director Kneeland C. Youngblood Named Among 2021 Most Influential Black Corporate Directors by Savoy Magazine

Prestigious Listing Highlights Ongoing Commitment to Diversity

LAS VEGAS – Nov. 1, 2021 – Scientific Games Corporation (NASDAQ: SGMS) (“Scientific Games” or the “Company”) announces Board of Director member Kneeland C. Youngblood has been named among the 2021 Most Influential Black Corporate Directors by Savoy magazine. Inspired by his accomplishments, the leading business magazine reporting on African American success and achievement, recognized Youngblood in its Fall 2021 issue.

Joining the Scientific Games Board as a director in 2018, Youngblood has supported the Company through several initiatives including the Company’s recent Strategic Review which helped Scientific Games focus its vision to become the leading cross-platform global game company. In his role as Director, he serves as Chair of the Compliance Committee and is a member of the Compensation Committee. He also serves on the Company’s DEI Council which champions leadership commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion and actively advocates for inclusive practices.

Youngblood is the founding partner and chairman of Pharos Capital Group, LLC, a private equity firm that invests in the healthcare and business services sectors. He also serves as a director of Mallinckrodt plc, a specialty pharmaceutical company, a director of TPG Pace Holdings Corp and a trustee of the Dallas Police and Fire Pension System.

Previously, he served on the board of directors of Gap Inc., Burger King, Energy Future Holdings and Oncor Electric Delivery. Youngblood graduated from Princeton University in 1978 with a Bachelor of Arts and earned a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical School in 1982.
