Matt serves as President and CEO of Light & Wonder, the leading cross-platform global games company. He is an experienced gaming industry executive and an accomplished leader known for driving greatness, delivering growth, capitalizing on new business opportunities, and developing strong customer relationships.

Matt began working for Light & Wonder (then known as Scientific Games) in March 2020. Prior to his current role, he served as Interim Chief Executive Officer from August 2022 to October 2022 and as Executive Vice President and Group Chief Executive of Gaming from March 2020 to August 2022, where he led strategic growth plans for the Gaming team while overseeing product development, production, supply chain and sales of the Company's Gaming products, systems and services. He became President and CEO of Light & Wonder in October 2022 and has worked to transform the business into three unique, yet complementary businesses to collectively build the world's greatest games and take them across all channels. Before his time with Light & Wonder, Matt spent more than 15 years in a variety of positions at Aristocrat.

Matt holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Wollongong in Australia and completed the Advanced Management Program at Wharton Business School in Philadelphia. He lives in Las Vegas with his wife and their three daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys spending quality time with his family and competing in triathlons.
