Director
Michael Marchetti joined the board of Light & Wonder in 2024. He previously served as a director of SciPlay Corporation. Throughout his career, Mr. Marchetti has held various leadership positions in both gaming companies and financial institutions.
Mr. Marchetti is currently CFO of Age of Learning, Inc. – creators of ABC Mouse.com. Prior to Age of Learning, Michael was CEO of Buffalo Studios (creator of the popular Bingo Blitz franchise), where he recruited the full executive team, growing the company from a dozen employees to more than 60 and led the cross-platform efforts that brought Bingo Blitz to mobile devices.
Mr. Marchetti started his mobile and interactive career as a founding executive and Chief Financial Officer of JAMDAT Mobile in 2000, one of the first mobile game companies in the U.S. He was instrumental in JAMDAT’s highly successful IPO in 2004, JAMDAT's purchase of the Tetris rights in 2005 and the acquisition of JAMDAT by Electronic Arts (EA) in 2006 for $680 million.
At EA, Mr. Marchetti held various senior executive roles between 2006 and 2011, leading multiple platform and business model transitions for mobile, online (SVP & GM of Pogo) and social games.
Mr. Marchetti began his career on Wall Street as a corporate lawyer at Cahill Gordon & Reindel and later as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch.
